“a yard from hell”

after many hours on the back of a bike, and many more hours editing away i have completed my documentary on bikers. it was a great learning experience and i had a blast learning to shoot on the back of a bike. when detroit brought us up to around 90mph i do admit my camera went snug against my chest and i just prayed to see 60mph again. the final video is a big leap off a high ledge, a dare really.

“f is for failure”
april 2007

For my documentary photography class I was to complete a scientific documentary. I choose to analyze the fear of failure. A fear of failure has limited my actions and production in the past. I started the project not intending to include my thoughts and words, but rather to look at this fear through the eyes of a therapist and lay person. In the end it became clear I was to be the lay person.
