A Bit About m.k.

I tell stories. Sometimes with still photography. Sometimes with video. Often with both.

I started out with a 35mm film camera, and now work with a 35mm digital camera that shoots HD video. Multimedia editing and photography are on my mind throughout each day. I watch commercials to see stories unfold in 30 seconds, television will teach
you how to use a mid-shot, and films, well, films teach you everything else.

A few rules I live by: Do Good. Keep it Simple. Watch baseball.

A rule for multimedia photography and editing: If you can’t tell a story in 2 minutes, you can’t tell a story in 2 hours.

I’ve won some awards, I’ve gotten an education, I’ve even worked at a traditional newspaper. I’m currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, available to shoot, edit, assist, or explain the rules of baseball.
